Every time I pass through the locks at Stoke Bruerne, I have to smile at the sign below the second lock down, lock 15 (pictured). We were last there in May.rnBritish Waterways installed some very good moorings in the long pound below the lock but then erected a signrnprohibiting people from using them. The signrnallowing 24-hour moorings points to the lock bollards and the sign telling people not to moor on the lock landing points down the long pound. This just shows the level of boating experience that British Waterways staff have.
