My Mikuni MX40 diesel heating system runs for 5-10 minutes and then stops. The operation lamp flashes on and off, and after restarting five or six times it shuts down and the self-diagnosis light flashcode indicates a fuel system problem. The manual suggests: out of fuel; glow plug carbonated; blocked fuel line; dirty flame sensor. We do not know where the fuel filter is or when it was last replaced.
