Having been an ardent reader of Canal Boat for 15 years or so, it has been interesting to see just what it is that interests, or annoys, the readers.rnA lot of what I read can also be aligned to every day life and that includes the term 'customer service' or even the lack of service to a prospective customer.rnFor over 10 years now, my family and I have been cruising the system using hire boats and I have to say that the service we have received from companies has been very good, the standard of boats has not been bad but what has been very good has been the layout of these boats.
