The appearance of a canyon in the Regent's Canal towpath in Islington may well have caused users to do a double take. But rather than being an added danger the impressive artwork was created to promote safer cycling. The canyon forms part of British Waterways' Two Tings campaign to encourage cyclists and pedestrians to share the towpath in harmony.rnTwo Tings represents the suggestion that cyclists give two rings of their bell to let pedestrians know they are there.
