PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely make between discharge electrodes and terminal electrodes into a connected state.;SOLUTION: A surge absorber is constituted with the discharge electrodes 12 and 13 being formed mutually opposite via a discharge gap 14 in an upper surface of an insulation substrate 11, and a peripheral edge of a cover body 19 is adhered with an upper part space 20 of these discharge electrodes 12 and 13 being surrounded, and terminal electrodes 31 and 32 connected to the discharge electrodes 12 and 13 are formed at external surfaces of both end sections of these cover bodies 19 and the insulation substrate 11. Electrical conduction connection sections 15, that make these electrodes in connected state by intermediate metals, and bridge sections 16 which prevent eutectic crystals coming out between the electrical conduction connection sections 15 and the discharge electrodes 12 and 13, are made to be interposed between the discharge electrodes 12 and 13, and the terminal electrodes 31 and 32.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
