Dutch barges, steam boats, a model submarine and people walking on water were among the sights to be seen at Beale Park as the IWA National Festival returned to the Thames.rnWith a site incorporating a lake, Beale Park lends itself to water-based displays. Working narrowboats were moored by Barry's Wharf, named after Barry Green, a volunteer who died earlier this year after many years of hardrnwork for festivals. Historic craft also included Humber keel Daybreak, Dunkirk 'little ship' L'Orage, and Salters steamer Alaska. Visitors had a chance try canoeing, working a model boat, or 'water zorbing', walking on water in an inflatable ball.
