Canals in Majorca

As a subscriber, I have never seen the canals in Alcudia, Majorca featured in the magazine. They were apparently built in the 19th Century by British canal engineers to drain wetlands for agriculture. They are still there and drain the water directly into the sea. Here's a photo I took of them.
