A reduction in the number of executive directors from seven to five, a salary cut for two directors including the Chief Executive and a pay rise for two other directors are the main features of a restructuring which should reduce the bill for Canal & River Trust's executive remuneration by well over 30 percent compared to the last year of British Waterways.
