Tony Robinson

We are sorry to have to report that Tony Robinson, Chairman of the Cotswold Canals Trust, has died. Tony took on an important role in the Trust's plans to restore the Thames & Severn Canal and Stroudwater Navigation when he became responsible for developments at the east end of the route (such as Inglesham Lock) at a time when much attention was focused on the west end. He became Chairman following the 2011 AGM, but sadly became ill just a few weeks later and died on 13 April. His predecessor as Chairman, Liz Payne, has stepped in as Acting Chair.
