Well done 'Angel' Max

Max Sinclair, who originally proposed the restoration of the Droitwich Canals in the 1960s and has supported the scheme all the way through to reopening last year, has been rewarded for his efforts with an English Heritage Angel Award. The founder of the Droitwich Canals Trust triumphed in the category for the Best Rescue of and Industrial Building or Site, described by judge Melvyn Bragg as "one of the toughest to decide".
