1 What first attracted you to the waterways? I grew up on a backwater of the Thames at Bourne End and we built our own plywood dinghy. 2 Which is your favourite canal? Any one run by Scottish Canals, of course! I've just returned from a trip on the Union and Forth & Clyde canals which was great.
