In February's CB there is a letter about the last commercial fuel run on the Aire & Calder. I and a few others work on other canals and would be grateful for any further information. We have heard several stories that the tankers have chosen not to go up the canal because they weren't deep enough and the Canal & River Trust would not dredge to make it deeper, and another version was that the contract had just ended.
