The IWA has fired back at critics who say that with the formation of the Canal & River Trust there is now no place for the Association. It points out that it has more inland boaters than any other waterways organisation, and that there is still an important role for the IWA alongside the CanalS River Trust, despite some of their I interests being similar. Those are among the points made in an open letter to 'all waterways enthusiasts' from Les Etheridge, IWA National Chairman.
