I wonder if other boaters have suffered the same frustration that my husband and I encountered when cruising on the peaceful and scenic Lee Navigation in Hertfordshire. There are no working CRT pump outs!They are marked on the map, and local boaters helpfully indicate where they are. And yes, there they are. But they do not work! I have left messages on the relevant answerphone at the CRT offices but as yet have not heard back.As I write we are moored outside the WCs at Waltham Town Lock, so we can use them in the night. Our toilet tank is full. Tomorrow we are headed for the private marina in Broxbourne - four hours cruise away. We will motor quickly and not drink too much coffee!
