The right charge

I enjoyed andy Edwards's article on Batteries (CB, March), but I must take issue with the following. In the second paragraph - electrons pass from one plate 'the anode to the cathode'. This is totally incorrect; in fact, electrons being negative pass from negative to positive, that is from the cathode to the anode. Andy is being confused with conventional current flow which states that current (not electrons) flows from +ve to -ve in an electrical circuit. I would have had no issue if he had said this, but please get the facts straight before writing such an article.
