Built in 2012 by Sea Otter Narrowboats, Muscovy Duck has the characteristic short square cruiser stern that's a hallmark of the company's boats. She's also - like all Sea Otter craft - built from marine grade aluminium alloy, so no need for anodes and no worries about rust. Despite her small size, the boat fits in everything you need aboard for weekends or longer trips for two people. Starting at the stern there's a bathroom with shower and Thetford cassette toilet and washbasin on the right. Next on the left is the galley, fully equipped with four-ring cooker, sink / drainer and Waeco 12 volt fridge. Opposite is a Kabola diesel stove supplementing the Webasto diesel central heating fitted throughout. In the forward saloon a bench on the right faces a small dinette; the arrangement converts to a double bed or two singles. The boat is powered by a Vetus M.206 engine, and the electrical system includes solar panels, a 1500W Vetus inverter and a Sterling battery management system.
