High time we ended the them and us

During the middle week of September, we finally were able to have our week on the canal after having our May holiday cancelled due to Coronavirus. What a wonderful week it was, with almost unbroken sunshine, lashings of Factor 50 sunscreen, and a trip from Napton down the South Oxford and back. We choose to hire, and have done so for many years, as we usually go for one or two weeks a year, and live in distant Cornwall, which does not lend itself to owning our own boat.
