New director for museum

As part of its move to widen the appeal of the museum, the Waterways Trust has appointed Stuart Gillis (pictured) as its new Director. Stuart will be based at Ellesmere Port, and will oversee the day-to-day management of the National Waterways Museum while maintaining the museum's archives and conserving the historic inland waterways collection.
