The European Digital Press Association (EDP) has given the Agfa Graphics :Dotrix Modular inkjet press the Best Industrial (Speciality) Printing Solution of the Year 2009 Award. It was given for introducing enhancements to modularity concept, improved VDP (variable data printing) and compatibility with existing workflows. :Dotrix received a special mention for its flexible material options.rnA single pass inkjet press, the :Dotrix Modular has four CMYK printing stations mounted above the web covering a full width of 25 inches. :Dotrix uses Agfa Graphics' UV curable inks which enable a wide range of applications from flexible packaging, labels, folding carton to plastic bags. The :Dotrix comes in single or double-sided configurations.
