For various reasons, grocery shopping is something I have loved doing ever since childhood, when I would get such a blast from riding in the in the kids' seat of the shopping cart as my mother plucked products off the shelves, while fending oFF my unsuccessful attempts to convince her of the merits of the latest sugar-coated neon breakfast puffs, or cookies with embedded Smarties in them.
