For the global meat industry, trade exhibitions don't come any bigger this year than next month's IFFA 2010 extravaganza in Frankfurt au Main, Germany. Running from May 8 to May 13, 2010, the triennial global showcase of the world's leading meat industry heavyweights and their suppliers has really come a long way since the show's first edition back in 1949-with its broad range of exhibits covering just about every imaginable sector and aspect of the international meat business's process chain, including slaughtering, dismembering, processing, weighing, filling and packaging, conveying, cooling and freezing, storage and distribution, transporting and selling, and the use of spices and additives right across the ever-growing range of meat and sausage products.
