Since taking the consumer marketplace by storm more than 25 years ago, microwavable popcorn has not really seen much change or innovation in the way it is packaged, purchased, made and enjoyed at home, whereby consumers pour the popped corn from bags into bowls-creating more dishes to wash-or eat it from the bags and risk having greasy residue from the side of the bags spilling on their hands or furniture.
