Combined electric vehicle AC/DC charging system

The combined AC/DC plug-in system for electric vehicles from Phoenix Contact handles charging with DC and AC voltage. The inlet of the plug-in connector can also be used for AC voltage charging with a type 2 AC plug. The main feature of the combined system is said to be its easy handling. The connector is inserted into the inlet with very little force. The system consists of the top AC part,which contains the three power contacts (L1,L2,L3),the control contacts (CP,PP),and protective conductor PE. The bottom part contains the two power contacts for DC voltage charging.
