Je tiens a remercier tous les benevoles et les permanents qui se sont devoues au cours de l'annee pour faire progresser la SCGC dans la voie du « leadership en matiere d'infrastructures durables ». C'est grace a leurs efforts que la SCGC est en mesure d'offrir ses programmes et de bien representer la profession. En outre, c'est aussi grace a ces efforts que nos predeces-seurs ont fait du genie civil une profession noble qui nous permet de connaitre des carrieres satisfaisantes. Et c'est grace a ces memes efforts que nous et nos successeurs pouvons profiter de carrieres en sachant que nous avons effectivement la competence pour orienter notre societe dans une voie plus durable.%I would like to express my sincere, personal thanks to all the volunteers and the National Office staff who have given selflessly over the past year to advance the Society forward towards its vision of "Leadership in Sustainable Infrastructure1'. It is through these untiring efforts that the CSCE is able to offer its varied programs and represent our profession. As well, it is through these untiring efforts that those who came before us made Civil Engineering a distinguished profession which enables us to have satisfying careers. Furthermore, it is through these untiring efforts that we, and those who follow in our footsteps, can continue to enjoy this career satisfaction and know that, as a profession, we have the skills and ability to keep moving our society in a more sustainable direction.
