The biggest change that those in the multichannel business will notice is the Media Bureau, which will be responsible for policy and licensing programs for media services such as cable, broadcast television and radio. It will handle matters pertaining to multichannel distribution, broadcast radio and television, DBS service policy and other matters. It's expected that the Media Bureau will take a leading role in the merger review of EchoStar and DirecTV, as well as Comcast and AT&T Broadband.
