Konzepte Betrieblicher Umweltinformationssysteme für Produktion und Recycling

Environmental management information systems (EMIS) represent an important contribution to information systems for the support of environmental protection by companies. In this contribution a special feature of EMIS will be focused on which supports the documentation and reduction of the considerable amounts of environmental damage caused by industrial production. A presentation of the foundations of EMIS and production-integrated environmental protection is followed by a discussion of concepts of computer-supported material flow management and recycling planning and management. The contribution concludes with a perspective on the embedding of the concepts described here in environmental information management.%Betriebliche Umweltinformationssysteme (BUIS) stellen einen wesentlichen Beitrag der Wirtschaftsinformatik zur Unterstützung des betrieblichen Umweltschutzes dar. In diesem Beitrag wird ein besonderes Augenmerk auf BUIS gerichtet, welche die Dokumentation und Verminderung der erheblichen durch die industrielle Produktion verursachten Umweltbelastun- gen unterstützen. Der Darstellung von Grundlagen zu BUIS und produktionsintegriertem Umweltschutz folgt die Präsentation von Konzepten des Stoffstrommanagement und der Recyclingplanung und -Steuerung. Den Abschluß bildet ein Ausblick auf die Einbettung der beschriebenen Konzepte in das Umweltinformationsmanagement.
