IP-PBX Mid-Size Maneuvering

You need an IP-PBX for a site with a few hundred users—a "mid-size" installation. Do you lean more toward a powerful high-end system and try to bring in big-PBX features and performance at an affordable per-station price? Today's article features the results in the "mid-size" IP-PBX class—systems typically addressing installations in the 100-1,000 IP-station range. In last month's issue, we unveiled the results in the "high-end" IP-PBX class—systems targeted at customers requiring more than 1,000 stations. A future BCR issue will conclude this year's testing with the results of the "low-end" IP-PBX review—systems typically supporting fewer than 100 IP stations.
