Founded: 2002 by Steve Swain, who had worked in the commercial vehicle and dealership business, and Peter Larking, one of the founders of Metrobus of Orpington, as a small bus operating adjunct to complement the bus dealership business at quiet times. Simon Stanford joined as engineering director in 2004 and established engineering facilities for the dealership, bus operations and third party clients. Gary Wood, the other Metrobus co-founder, joined as operations director in 2006. All four are eaual shareholders.
