Since my visit to Vancouver in March, daughter Sarah has become a connoisseur of the Greyhound coach service between the Canadian city and Seattle, and reports that not everything we encountered (Service Extra, June) are regular features. Constant are delays at the United States border, effortless extra coach provision and affable drivers seemingly unconcerned about keeping to the advertised timetable. Inconsistency exists in border advice, early supply of border paperwork and baggage tagging. On one journey there was no mention of food restrictions for US entry or a comfort stop before the border and there was a delay there - mainly because passengers needing immigration forms were not supplied in advance so they could write them en route (Sarah and her brother - oops).
