Munich says hybrids fail to match their promise

Munchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG), the Munich city operator, is delaying ordering diesel-electric hybrid buses for its 460-vehicle fleet until they become more reliable and less expensive.MVG chief Herbert Konig says hybrids have not yet lived up to their manufacturers' claims.
