The New Bus for London 'Borismaster' (Buses last month)? What a disappointment by comparison with what we were led to expect and for which many people submitted proposals. Why are there no opening windows at the front? This most vitally needed feature, begged for by passengers suffering in choking, airless conditions for years now, and totally ignored. Are there going to be any opening windows at all? The air recirculator device upstairs on current buses is next to useless, just blowing people's diseases about the saloon, and it adds to weight, which is still a problem as this vehicle is 2 or 3tonne heavier than a Metrobus or Titan but seats 1 0 fewer.
