German coaching start-up Deinbus has started new routes linking Munich with Stuttgart and the university city of Tuebingen ahead of planned deregulation in 2012 — but with a snag. 'This is southern Germany's first interurban coach route,' says Ingo Mayr-Knoch, one of the student company's three founders. Using two 50-seat coaches hired from Autobus Oberbayern und Hochstetter Touristik, the return service operates twice daily from Thursday to Monday. Fares charged range between €9 and €21 (￡7.70 to ￡18).
