The 1953 Scottish Motor Show had exhibits from 10 different British bus chassis manufacturers, plus a Harrington Contender chas-sisless lightweight. An Alexander H58R-bodied Leyland Titan PD2/20 for Liverpool Corporation was the only double-decker, but Glasgow Corporations Alexander Coronation-bodied Daimler Freeline was also present.
