Sidney Catherwood chairman of Ulsterbus from its formation in 1966 until 1987, died on 24 August, aged 84. Herbert Sidney Elliott Catherwood was born in 1929, a nephew of Harold Matthew Stuart Catherwood, one of Northern Ireland's pioneering bus operators in the 1920s.
