BACK-TO-FRONT

I enjoyed the article on bus stops by Doug Rose (August Buses), but he makes no mention of back-to-front bus stops. Nottingham has fantastic bus services, but if it were judged on the quality of its bus stops alone, it certainly would not win any awards.At all too many stops, the boarding point is yards away from the bus stop itself and to see your bus coming, you have to face backwards and, more often than not, the last people to arrive at the stop are the first to get on the bus.
