Olympic stars at FoKAB running day

There was never any question that there would be but one star at the Friends of King Alfred Buses annual running day in Winchester on New Year's Day: it was always going to be JAA 708, the 1950 Weymann-bodied Leyland Olympic from the King Alfred fleet. Repatriated from retirement to Ireland in 1990, this rare 27ft 6in long HR40 Olympic has undergone painstaking restoration to original condition and had been displayed as work in progress during some earlier Winchester running days.
