With most of the information you need to use a bus now available electronically, and also in many places, at the stop, is there any need to be to able to contact a person? Some bus companies seem to think not, having people, other than drivers, uncontactable out of office hours. Others see it differently. One of the instances where immediate action is often important is with lost property: you have realised you have left your top secret documents on the bus and it is Saturday afternoon.
