Draughtsmanship on show at Wythall's MCW celebrations

Traditional draughtsmanship by pencil will be demonstrated during the Wythall Transport Museum's celebration of all things Metro-Cammell Weymann on the August bank holiday weekend on 24/25 August. Wythall is marking 25 years since MCW closed and ended bus production in Birmingham, with a special display of photographs and some of the products of MCW and Metro-Cammell. On Sunday 24 August only, former MCW bus designer John Seale, now with Optare, will demonstrate his traditional draughtsmanship skills by completing a general arrangement drawing of a 1931 Birmingham City Transport Morris Commercial Dictator, similar to a vehicle awaiting restoration there.
