1. Arriva has expanded into southern Serbia with a five-year contract to operate 33 refurbished single-deckers in the city of Nis. It already operates 273 buses in northern Serbia, including capital city Belgrade. 2. MET, the German operator led by former First and National Express executive David Leeder, has ordered 25 low-entry Scania Citywide single-deckers for a new contract operated by its BRH Viabus subsidiary in the Mannheim area. 3. VOLVO and Siemens have signed a global agreement to supply and install high-power charging stations along with electric hybrid and full-electric Volvo 7900 single-deckers in cities pursuing ultra-low emission policies.
