I read with interest your Fleet in Focus article in October Buses on Marshalls of Sutton on Trent, but the mention of tidal service 90A to Balderton intrigues me. I am aware of the Trent Aegir, a tidal bore, coming upstream above Gainsborough towards Newark, but even on the spring tides I cannot imagine it affecting the Great North Road to Balderton. Can you enlighten us?
