Pen & Sword is one of the book publishers that have stepped in to fill the gap left by Ian Allan Publishing's apparent withdrawal from the road transport market. This is the first of three titles promised on London bus subjects, two of them written by Matt Wharmby, who produced five earlier volumes for Ian Allan, where he also worked as a book editor for several years.
