Norman Bartlett, Buses Worldwide founder member

Nonnan Bartlett, former chairman and news editor of Buses Worldwide and latterly its bus business news editor, died on 14 November following a bicycle accident. He was 85. After national service in the Royal Air Force, he trained as a teacher but gave up that profession to work in London Transport's public relations office. He later became a freelance transport journalist, writing mainly for aviation magazines, but also was an occasional contributor to Buses, most recently travelling by public transport from near Chelmsford to Snetterton in Norfolk in December 2019 for the official opening of battery electric bus developer Equipmake's new technical facility.
