Lloyd is English for Llwyd

Under London Bus 4 Hire, Usk (Fleet News England & Wales last month) tells us that Llwyd is the Welsh spelling of Lloyd. It would be more correct to reverse the order and say that Lloyd is the English spelling of Llwyd.This explains the double T at the beginning of the word and 'oy' is an attempt to replicate the dipthong 'wy' that causes some difficulty for non-Welsh speakers; 'llwyd', incidentally, means 'grey'.
