Big Lemon gives up biodiesel, awaits four delayed electrics

Brighton-based The Big Lemon has revealed that it is no longer able to power its fleet from biodiesel and that delivery of its four new battery electric single-deckers has been delayed by three months. In a New Year message to its stakeholders and supporters, the community interest company's chief executive, Tom Druitt, explained that after using biodiesel from recycled waste cooking oil for over 10 years, it is no longer able to obtain supplies in the quantities it can afford to buy or store.
