One third of responses oppose Oxford Street plans

Of the 22,000 responses, 48% support and 33% oppose the pedestrianisation plans for Oxford Street, while 16% express support but with some reservations.Transport for London and Westminster City Council revealed these figures on 13 March when they published the result of the second consultative exercise to gauge public opinion on the pedestrianisation scheme (Buses January).
