Yesteryear Coaches operates Haworth connections

Further to your feature on Blakey (Millar's Tales last month), it is the Haworth 1940s Weekend, held in May each year, which is awash with 1960s buses, all in service, ferrying immense loads of passengers from Haworth railway station to the top of the village. The Haworth 1960s Weekend, which Hugh Dougherty visited, has never generated such large numbers of either visitors or heritage buses. Incidentally the bus operator contracted to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway has always been Yesteryear Coaches of Baildon and not the Keighley Bus Museum Trust, though I did operate my own Keighley Borough Transport-liveried Leyland Olympian, C147 KBT, in the Worth Valley quite independently for several years.
