Best Tool for the Job

摘要

A comparative evaluation of four commercially available power cycle simulation software products was performed by the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) as part of the development of an Integrated Geothermal Systems Simulator (IGSS) Project at The Geysers. The criteria for this comparison included the capabilities of the software products to model a geothermal power plant steam cycle, ease of integration with other modules of the project (e.g., reservoir/well simulator), ease of use, support, and commercial considerations.
