BLM Launches Effort to Facilitate Geothermal Development on Federal Lands Through Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS)

BLM posted its official Notice of Intent to Prepare a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) • for Leasing of Geothermal Resources for 11 western states and Alaska in the June 13, 2007, Federal Register.
