Adventures Within the Geothermal Community:A Q & A with Cary Lindsey, a past GRC Scholarship Awardee

In this feature, we interview Cary R. Lindsey,a PhD candidate in the Department of GeologicalSciences at the University of Idaho and a self-proclaimed‘hockey mom’ of three. As an undergraduate student atMississippi State University, Cary attended the NationalGeothermal Academy in Reno, Nevada, USA in 2012.Her current research involves application of geostatisticsand exploratory statistics to heat transfer in andexploration of geothermal systems. She has been a prolificmember of the GRC, having attended Annual Meetingssince 2012 and presented various papers, highlightingher past work in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi andYellowstone National Park. Furthermore, Cary is arecipient of a 2015 GRC Graduate Scholarship award.
