A mathematical tablet called sangaku which was dedicated to the Suwa Jinjya-the Shinto shrine in Mishima is conserved at the Mishima Country Museum. It is a historical work which shows the wasan-the traditional Japanese mathematics in Edo Period of Japan. However, it has become dark due to the deterioration by aging. Then, we have tried to restore the sangaku through the drawing by computer. Also, from the literature, we have inferred the early solution in Edo period.%嘉永2年(1849年)に長岡市七日市(旧三島郡三島町大字七日市)の諏訪神社に算額が奉掲された.
